The first set of wedding invitations

My girlfriend Kristin asked me to create all of the pieces for her wedding before she even knew I was thinking about starting a custom announcement company. I had been tossing around the idea anyway and of course would do anything to help out such a good friend so I took on the project. I figured that if I got through the job and still thought it was a good idea it would be the perfect job for a mom. Needless to say, I love doing this.

For Kristin and Brian's wedding I started with a Save the Date. Since the wedding was in Las Vegas, they wanted to give plenty of notice to those they wanted traveling with them.

I went with a crisp red rose stamp from Stampin' Up! For the Save that Date I chose to stamp the rose twice, once in the red and then once so that I could emboss the image in a slight sparkle for a highlight.

Both the invitation and Save the Date were done in 6x6. We used a Black pocket fold for the invitation. I love pocket folds. I am one of those very organized people (well I was before i had kids but I am sure it will come back one day) and I love how neat and organized they are, especially if you have a lot of information to get to your guests.

For the enclosure. I stamped the same rose image to make the band and created and monogram with their initials and wedding date.
